As a service, we have set this page where housing authorities who are opening up their waiting lists can post that fact. If your agency is opening its waiting list and would like to post the specifics, please e-mail us at info@conn-nahro.org.
Also, The State of Connecticut's Department of Administrative Services has now established a web site at which anyone can easily find out which Section 8 waiting lists in Connecticut are currently open.
The web site is located at http://www.das.state.ct.us/Business_Svs/HCVP/HCVP_Home.asp. You should bookmark this site in your web browser.
Under Section 14 of Public Act 04-258, housing authorities are required to post on this site notice of the opening of any Section 8 waiting list at least two weeks before the housing authority begins accepting applications.
