"CONN-NAHRO offers a forum for housing professionals to exchange ideas, develop strategy, and work in partnership with Connecticut legislators and housing officials to ensure that decent, safe and sanitary and affordable housing is within reach of all citizens of the state."

• To influence policy and legislation on the local, state and Federal levels.
  
  
• To meet with State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority and the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development on a regular basis to discuss and review regulatory and procedural matters.
  
  
• To form active coalitions with all groups in the State who are similarly dedicated to making the dream of decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing a reality.
  
  
• To offer forums for housing professionals to exchange knowledge, strategy and ideas.
  
  
• To provide professional training and education for housing authority commissioners, directors, staff and tenants, as well as other housing advocates.
